It seems like I am forever apologizing in these columns, and must do so again. As I am the father of 2 autistic kids and also hold down 2 jobs, this column kind of fell by the wayside this week. The format is a little different, as I did not document things day by day.
The opponent: Reginald Denny’s Traveling All Stars. I was intially quite nervous heading into this matchup, as my opponent had more starts from his pitching staff than I did. However, good fortune smiled upon me (again) when Javy Guerra was demoted from the closer role for the Dodgers after lineups locked. Good fortune continued to smile upon me when Troy Tulowitzki missed a few games with a nagging injury, and late in the week, Mark Reynolds went on the DL. In addition, his two starts from Joe Saunders actually COST him 3 points. Read more of this post
