Meet SKA: The 3,000 Mile Long Super-Telescope

SKA Telescope Logo

The SKA Logo

The Square Kilometer Array (SKA) will be the world’s largest and most sensitive radio telescope when it is completed.

Using Interferometry, which is the linking together of radio telescopes to create a larger virtual telescope known as an Interferometer, the SKA will combine thousands of linked radio wave receptors that will be located in Australia and Southern Africa. Ten countries across these two continents will share the location of this mind-boggling project.

ALL SIGNALS FROM THE ANTENNAS IN EACH REGION WILL COMBINE and create a collecting area equivalent to A DISH WITH AN AREA OF ABOUT 1,000,000 METERS. Read more of this post

Discovering Happiness in a World of Negative Illusion

Dawning upon a new chapter in my life after graduating college is frightening, but brings with it a tremendous opportunity for the future.

I’m working everyday at a job I hate, around a bunch of negative people who are currently not happy with their lives. I can now understand why the majority of adults these days are miserable. What I believe is the cause to the misery is not the terrible job they are working, or the negative people who bring them down for eight hours, it’s that fact that they think they do not have an alternative.  Read more of this post

Harvard Astronomers Say Earth-Like Planets Are Right Next Door

Using publicly available data from NASA’s Kepler space telescope, astronomers at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA) have found that six percent of red dwarf stars have habitable, Earth-sized planets.

Since red dwarfs are the most common stars in our galaxy, the closest Earth-like planet could be just 13 light-years away. Read more of this post

The Secrets to Mastery in This Lifetime

You have come to this planet to learn. There is no right or wrong, simply frequency selection. That’s it. You have come to integrate experience and let go of judgement. This is the game of earth and you are all playing very well. Having fun? Read more of this post

Largest Structure in The Universe Discovered

Astronomers have discovered the largest known structure in the universe, a clump of active galactic cores that stretches 4 billion light-years from end to end. Read more of this post

The Holographic Principle

The holographic principle is the theory that our three-dimensional reality is a projection of information stored on a distant, two-dimensional surface. Much like the emblem on your credit card, the two-dimensional surface holds all the information you need to describe a three-dimensional object. In our case, this three-dimensional object is our universe. Read more of this post

You Create Your Own Universe Pt. I: Becoming Consciously Aware

This will be a multiple part series posted over the course of the next few weeks! :)

I observe today’s society and I notice a predominant theme, a game of follow the leader. When you look at the bigger picture of reality, it becomes crystal clear that there is no leader, you lead your own life. You make all the final decisions, good or bad. You create your own universe. You Are Nothing But a Frequency

Look at yourself…..no! Not in the mirror, not in your reflection, not in your shadow; but in this space…directly!

Observe yourself, harder. What do you see?

Who are you?

Or would it be better to ask ‘what are you?’ Read more of this post

Amazing Images Captured by The Hubble Telescope

The Hubble has been whipping around Earth at a speed of five miles per second since its launch in 1990.

During its 22-year run, the school-bus-sized telescope has sent hundreds of thousands of images back to Earth that have given scientists a glimpse of the most distance stars and galaxies and helped to determine the age of the universe.

The telescope has changed our understanding of the universe forever. Read more of this post

A Little Perspective On The Universe

I recently came across a very interesting picture accurately showing how earth is positioned in the entire observable universe.

It does this in eight steps;

1. The Earth

2. Where the Earth is in the Solar System

3. Where the Solar System is in relation to the nearby Stars

4. Where the nearby Stars are in relation to the Milky Way Galaxy

5. Where the Milky Way is in relation to the nearby Galaxies (The Local Group)

6. Where the Local Group is in relation to the local Super Cluster of Galaxies (The Virgo Supercluster),

7. Where the Virgo Supercluster is in relation to the nearby Super Clusters of Galaxies

and

8. Where the Local Supercluster is in relation to the ENTIRE OBSERVABLE UNIVERSE. Read more of this post

Why You Should Believe that Aliens Exist

Everyone has a right to their own opinion regarding the existence of another life form in the universe. I personally believe that it is very foolish of people to not believe in aliens. All that you have to do is look up into the sky. Realize how tiny and irrelevant we really are compared to the rest of the universe.  Read more of this post

A Three-Dimensional Map of The Sky (VIDEO)

The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS-III) has released the largest three-dimensional map of massive galaxies and distant black holes ever created. The map pinpoints the locations and distances of over a million galaxies. It covers a total volume equivalent to that of a cube four billion light-years on a side. Read more of this post

Consciousness Drives The Universe (VIDEO)

Outstanding video which depicts that consciousness is what drives and shapes everything. This means ultimately everything in the universe and that even matter is consciousness in the most subtlest and dense form: Read more of this post

Spotting The Universe’s First Dark Galaxies

Dark galaxies are small, gas-rich objects from the early universe. A telescope in South America has apparently found evidence of these primitive galaxies born in the early universe. Read more of this post
