Shift Happens

The Age of Enlightenment

Were in the process of a global shift of consciousness.

As each day goes on, more and more people are being exposed to truth. There is no more room for secrets, and it is almost impossible to hide anything anymore.

Information is everywhere and accessible from a variety of different sources.

Who would have ever thought 50 years ago that every single piece of information that has ever been documented would be accessible at light speed in the palm of your hand?

Anything you could ever want to know is available to you for free. All you have to do is make the conscious choice to discover it. If you want to build knowledge on anything, you have the ability to do so without having to pay a single dollar. You can basically “school” yourself through Google.com if you truly desired.

I have.

I can say for certain that I have learned more from the internet in the last 3 years than I would have learned in 99 years worth of classes in any normal institution. School has been a great tool for me, but I feel the schooling system in this country is extremely flawed.

I feel it is flawed for a variety of reasons.

The first reason being that school doesn’t teach you how to live your life and be a good person. There aren’t enough classes taught in schools these days about how to treat each other with equality and respect. That is up to your parents or whoever you are raised by. If you look at some of the parents and guardians in this world and how they treat their kids, you can see my point here.

The second reason I believe the school system is flawed is because teaching history doesn’t make history from repeating itself preventable. In most of my history classes, I learn a great deal of facts and information. While this is great and has taught me a lot about this country’s past, I didn’t learn how to not make the same mistakes many people made in history. History is constantly repeating itself. The reason that is the case is because no one is studying and analyzing why things went wrong in the first place. Some do, but lets be honest, most don’t. Instead of being proactive in changing the future, we play a more reactive role to our current circumstances.

The third reason I believe the school system is flawed is because it is designed to train us to be drones. We are given a structured life to live by. Go to school, get a degree, then get a job.

Where do most get a job?

Working for someone else.

Sure your employer might compensate you nicely, but working for someone else in my opinion keeps your personal growth STAGNANT.

There is little room for evolution when you have to answer to someone else each day. You are not taught to think for yourself. You are taught to follow orders, and if you don’t, it will cost you your income stream.

The reason that the school system is designed this way is because we need people to be drones. We need people to do the miniscule tasks within society. We need people to crunch numbers and people to do the dirty work. We need people to show up everyday and do the same thing over and over and not ask questions.

You might learn a few cool things along the way from your co-workers or your boss, but there is little room to expand on those ideas when you are swamped all day with doing tasks for someone else. If everyone got into business for themselves, there would be no one working for anyone else.

How could society work like that?

It wouldn’t, hence the reason it is designed not to.

But we are moving toward something different.

Every day I meet more and more people who are beginning to think for themselves.

They are beginning to step back and realize that it doesn’t have to be that way anymore.

People are starting to take a step back and look at things objectively. This can be an extremely enlightening experience if you are able to break the barriers society imposes upon you. If you are able to break the conditioning you have grown up with, you can see that we are living life like it is a movie. We are the actors, and the people in power are the directors.

I won’t stand for that anymore, and neither should you.

We are starting to slowly shift into a new realization. If you look at movements like occupy wall street, you can see it is already happening in the lower class. Soon it will spread through the middle and upper classes until the entire pyramid of power completely collapses and we enter into the new world.

End of the World? Or End of The World as we Know it?

Will this happen on December 21, 2012?

Who knows.

Maybe the sun blows up, maybe we are visited by aliens, or maybe we shift our consciousness as a majority into a brighter future.

Either options are viable, and we will have to wait to find out.

As this point in time rapidly approaches, I ask of you to take a step back and look at your life objectively.

Are you doing everything you want?

Are you working toward achieving your deepest desires?

Are you happy with your life?

What can you do today to change it?

What can you do today to inspire someone?

If you are not asking yourself these questions each day, you have a lot to learn.
