Archie Manning is against Luck/Peyton being Teammates

Archie Manning doesn’t believe that Peyton and Andrew Luck will want to be on the same team in Indianapolis.

When he was asked about it he stated :

” I don’t think it would necessarily be great for either one. I think Andrew’s the type of mature player that can walk right in. I mean, these other three or four guys that are playing this year, they can walk in and contribute, Andrew can, too…

We Know Andrew well. He comes down to our camp every year. I used to play with his dad…im in New York, I heard from him last night. Peyton has also tried to help Andrew and kind of be a friend. I doubt if either one want to play on the same team.”

These are strong words coming from a former NFL quarter back and father.

Archie knows much more about his son Peyton than any analyst, reporter  or coach in the NFL.

He must have some inside news that if the Colts do pick Andrew Luck, Peyton wants out. Or, since the Mannings’ and Lucks’ are family friends, Archie could try and influence Luck on pulling an Eli Manning on draft day.

Passing on Stanford QB Andrew luck or even Heisman Trophy winning QB Robert Griffin to keep Peyton Manning can be very costly for the organizations future, but Indy LOVES Peyton Manning. He is GOD there.

In March we will know the future of the 4 time MVP.

Will he retire? Join another team? remain a colt?

Only time will tell, but what we do know is that big daddy Manning said that these two do not belong on the same team.

I personally believe that they can  be great teammates. With Lucks amazing raw talent and Peyton Manning being one of the best quarterbacks ever, they can create an unstoppable MONSTER. Especially after Peyton retires and becomes Andrew Lucks head coach. WHATTT??!!
