Gyroscopic Pool Table

Until recently, pool lovers have been out of luck on cruise ships.
While the cruise lines have been doing all they can to bring the activities of the land, to a vacation at sea, pool just seemed like one fun past-time that would never be possible.
For sports like ping pong, the wobbly surface of a boat is only a minor inconvenience.
However for pool, when the surface of the boat wobbles, so does the pool table.This subtle tilt causes the game of pool, which requires each ball to stay exactly where it is in between shots, to be completely out of the question on cruise ships…
Until now!
This new invention, which has just gone into use this year (2012), uses gyroscopic technology to keep the table’s surface perfectly level regardless of where it is used. Cruise Lines are jumping on this technology, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them on almost all cruise ships within the next year!
