Top 5 Poker Tells to Eliminate From Your Arsenal

I notice a lot of amateur poker players give away a lot of unnecessary information (poker tells) when they sit down to play poker in a live setting. A lot of the “tells” I pick up on, are subconsciously being delivered to me by my opponents without them realizing. Some opponents can’t help to shake when they have the nuts/bluffing. Also, many opponents give away the strength of their hands by their betting patterns, and how they place each bet. This article will detail how to pick up on these small details at the table so you can experience more profit in the long-run, assuming you don’t make the same mistakes yourself. Welcome to Part-Time America

Written by: Sal Pezzino -@sp1989

If you were to look at the state of the United States economy, on paper it would seem as though everything is OK. The Dow Jones has been flirting with 16,000, stock prices are soaring, and the unemployment rate keeps going down. The truth is that it is all entirely artificial. Read more of this post

What Does The Future Hold For Online Poker in The United States of America?

Every since the fated day of April 15th, 2011, dubbed as “Black Friday”, there has been much speculation concerning the future of online poker in the United States of America. While many remain skeptical, I remain optimistic of future legalization due to a variety of different factors. The recent incident of Senator John McCain playing poker during a crucial debate over Syria has a little to do with that, but much more than meets the eye has been developing in the background. Will American poker players finally get what they deserve? A fair and regulated poker market for all to play and enjoy without the question of whether or not their bankrolls are “safe” in the online arena? Read more of this post

Abundance vs. Scarcity

If you are unfamiliar with the term “abundance”, it is safe to say you are not living your life to the fullest potential. In terms of polarity, there are two extremes of “vibrations” that the entire universe you exist in is run on. The lowest vibration can be termed “scarcity”, while the opposite highest extreme can be labeled abundance. Read more of this post

My name is Michael Finger, and I am a Frugal Mastermind.

What Can You Learn About Human Psychology From a Poker Game?

Having played poker competitively for the last few years, I have developed an understanding of how a variety of different poker players think and act at a poker table. No two opponents are exactly the same, but many poker players share very similar traits, especially the long-term losing players. A lot of long-term losing poker players are prone to being effected by their emotional state. At the poker table, one of your biggest weapons to becoming a long-term profitable player is understanding how the value of money affects certain players. When losing, a lot of weaker opponents tend to “chase their losses” hoping to break-even, but in the process, most of these players ultimately lose more money because they fail to regain the focus needed to win in the long-run. Is The Proposed Minimum Wage Increase Good or Bad For The American Economy?

During the Presidential State of the Union address, President Obama spoke about raising the minimum wage to $9.00 an hour. Specifically he said “No one who works full-time, should have to live in poverty.” When its put like that, its pretty hard to disagree with, how could anyone disagree with that? Well, those people are called Republicans. When it comes to proposing an increase to the minimum wage, their trepidations aren’t exactly unfounded and wrong. There are legitimate reasons why an increase to the minimum wage, especially in this economy, is a bad idea. Read more of this post

The Psychology of Gambling (Infograph)

65% of Americans gamble – I’m not sure what percentage are degenerate gamblers or occasional gamblers, but at least we know that over half of America feels comfortable enough to gamble their money away during this “recession”.

How we gamble and how long we gamble all depends on how our brain is working. When we are having fun and enjoying gambling, dopamine is being release into our brain telling us that we want more. This is what makes gambling so exciting. When we are losing..well, that feeling is terrible.

Check out this info graph showing how our brains work and react during gambling.

It Doesn’t Take Common Sense to Know That…Mitt Romney Won the First Debate

So I went into the debate with an open mind. Not knowing really what to expect, but after watching the debate, I must say that it was a decisive victory for Mitt Romney. The mainstream news and media will undoubtedly take sides but coming from a person in the middle I can say that Romney clearly won. Read more of this post

The Universal Currency

the universe

Universal Currency of Knowledge

When you hear of the word currency, the first word that probably comes to mind is money.

The problem is, money isn’t a real currency.

The only true currency in this universe, is knowledge.

Knowledge that money is an irrelevant object in the grand scheme of things, and knowledge that we don’t exactly have the knowledge of why we are even here in these “lives.”

Life is a complete mystery, and has yet to be completely explained by anyone in our race who has ever lived. No one has the true answer for our existence, or even where “we” fit in the picture of the rest of the universe.

What are the implications of this? Read more of this post

the illuminati eye

The Illuminati Control Everything Through The Irrational Concept of Money.

Just look at how many viewers Terence McKenna loses in his 6 part series in terms of YouTube views.

Many people can’t handle this type of stuff because it goes against everything culture trains them to believe. It goes against everything they have believed their whole lives.

The fact is, if you live in America, you have been brainwashed to believe a certain way.

You have been lied to your entire life, and we are willing to step up and expose the corruption in this country, and this entire world faces on a daily basis.

The fact is, millions of people across the globe get FUCKED OVER every single day by truly meaningless piece of paper and monetary “value” system.

Money doesn’t work and it is failing miserably.

Just look at what has happened to the value of the American dollar in recent years and months.

My Complete Poker Manifesto, Part VIII: Cash-Game Approaches

A Nice Setup for Multi-Tabling

Part VII: Playing Each Poker Session

Most of my profit from poker has been generated from multi-tabling online cash games.

I play cash games strictly for profit and I don’t think cash games are quite as fun as tournaments for a few different reasons. In cash games, especially when multi-tabling, I run into the same opponents a lot. In the higher stakes, I know for certain the good regulars in these games are keeping great notes on me and developing reads. Because of this, I lose the chance to make profit off them in the long-run because they will adjust to my play constantly. Read more of this post
