Become So Organized it Disgusts People

Just Like The Shirt Says!

One of the biggest things you can do right now to immediately improve your life and productivity is to GET ORGANIZED.

Organization makes doing things a lot easier. You will know exactly where everything is and you can work more efficiently and effectively.

Put it this way, if you already think you are organized, there is someone out there who is more organized.

Get organized to the point where people are actually disgusted and repulsed at how organized you are.

Once you reach that stage, you know you are going to be able to work at 100% of your potential.

Being organized is not just moving a few things around on your desk. It involves organizing EVERY ASPECT of your life. If you find yourself constantly searching for things and locating where you left something, you are wasting time that can be dedicated to improving your own success.

Think of all the time you waste looking for where your keys are, where you put that last thing you bought, and where the fuck you left the remote.

How much time would you save if you organized everything to the point where you knew EXACTLY where to look for it instantly without hesitation?

It really isn’t hard.

Create a system of organization for yourself based on your personal lifestyle.

Everyone is different.

What works for one person will be totally different for another.

The best step to stop forgetting where things are initially is to WRITE THINGS DOWN.

When you write something down, you can never forget it. Unless of course, you forget where you left the piece of paper. Sucks to be you and that unorganized.

Start working at it!

It really isn’t that hard to get organized and requires minimal time to organize a few things. After you organize certain aspects of your life, you will want to organize everything else because you will realize how much time it is saving you during the workday.

Being Unorgazined Creates Stress!

To sum it up, being organized:

1. Reduces stress of not realizing where you left things

2. Makes you more efficient

3. Makes you more productive

4. Makes it easier to manage your time

5. Creates a clean work environment that is comfortable to work in

I think #5 is of utmost importance to me.

I love being in a comfortable environment. It makes it so much easier to work and get things done when I am relaxed.

If you have ever met me personally, you already know how I operate. I know EXACTLY where everything is that I need instantly and my room and work station area is SPARKLING CLEAN.

I can’t operate in any other environment anymore until I make it so disgustingly organized that people are repulsed by my work ethic and organization skills! :)

It’s All So Simple

Life is simple.

We make it so much more complicated than it has to be.

In reality, everything we need to be happy is right here on earth. We need to look past all the illusions and nonsense: the money, the religions, the boundaries, borders, ignorant ways of thinking and so on.

There is no man up in the sky called “God” that looks down upon us. There is no one there to intervene and make everything okay but ourselves.

Knowledge is the driving force behind all wisdom. Wisdom is the driving force behind the evolution of human consciousness.

It may seem like we have been stuck in a state of ignorance and it will stay that way forever, but…

Who would have thought 40 years ago the president of the United States would be black?

Barack Obama is the President of the United States because a series of events have been happening for a very long time called the evolution of conscious awareness.

This is where we’re at right now:

Some crazy chaotic stage where all we care about is the dollar bill.

1% of the people are rich.

Everyone else is broke.

The Middle East is revolting.

Suicide bombings are killing U.S. soldiers.

Occupy everywhere movements.

WW3 about to go down with Iran.

The world is changing at a rapid pace right now. It’s all part of a learning stage in humanity.

Our lifetime is just a link in an evolutionary chain.

Our own free will got us into this situation and now it’s up to us to get ourselves out.

Simple, but hard.

In order to attain peace, knowledge must first be obtained.

Knicks Defeat Celtics in Season Opener Thriller at MSG

Amare Taking It To KG

I rarely watch basketball games in their entirety, but this game was the exception. I was very curious to see how the Knicks would perform against a Boston team that has championship experience and great team chemistry.

In the first half the Knicks had complete control of the game, it seemed everything Boston did, New York had the answer for it. However, the 3rd quarter proved to be almost fatal for the Knicks winning chances.

The Celtics, led by All-star point guard Rajon Rondo, overcame a 10 point deficit at halftime and took the lead heading in the 4th.

The 4th quarter was an epic seesaw battle between a team predicated on flawless execution in the Celtics, against an upcoming power in the East in the Knicks, this game had a playoff atmosphere and this Knicks win had a “changing of the guard” feel.

Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudmire carried the Knicks past the Celtics. They did  it with clutch shooting and good team defense led by the newest Knick Tyson Chandler.

Chandler Made A Defensive Impact Today

BUT..

There are some important factors us Knick fans MUST confront before we can officially label this Knick team a Championship caliber team.:

The Celtics Did Not Have Paul Pierce  - Any basketball fan knows that Pierce is the unquestioned closer on this team. He is a great clutch shooter and a nightmare for opposing teams to guard. The Knicks received a Christmas gift for him not playing this afternoon.

Consistency - The Knicks started the game very strong, however they allowed the Celtics to come back and take the lead in the 3rd quarter. I give credit to the Celtics for coming back, but from a Knicks perspective you got to close the door on a team, especially a team with championship experience.

Rondo Having His Way With The Knicks Defense

Point Guard Play - The Knicks had no play execution in the 2nd half. Their talent (Carmelo and Amare) allowed this team to edge the Celtics. The Knicks could not set up scripted plays from the point, you just felt that the knicks were trying to figure out how to get the ball to Melo and Amare. A healthy Baron Davis can really make this team a threat in the East, experienced Point Guard play is CRUCIAL for a team to be successful in the playoffs.

Manage Your Expectations - We are ALL excited about the Knicks being relevant again, and this win proves that. However, you can not account for how important Paul Pierce is to the Celtics.

I believe this game would have been completely different if he played. It was a great win, BUT I don’t put the Knicks over the Celtics YET.

Let’s enjoy this win because it is a great one. It could be the first step towards a championship, something that Knick fans have been dreaming of for 40 years. However, the Knicks must improve their point guard play and their ability to keep teams from crawling back into games.

This is something that will take time to do, but the question is how much time?

Steve Jobs: The Billion Dollar Hippy

Steve Jobs, one of the most successful and creative innovators of the century was….a hippy?

Wait…what?

Yes, you heard that correctly.

Steve was a big tripper and he attributes a lot of his creativity and innovative powers to psychedelics.

Steve was also big into zen meditation.

Steve says taking LSD was one of the “most important things of his life.”

Steve Jobs: The Billion Dollar Hippy

Wow!

Now if you have been conditioned to believe that psychedelics are harmful and make people go crazy, this may seem a little nuts.

However, if you have done some independent research on psychedelics and maybe experimented yourself, you probably have realized already that all the propaganda that has been flooded into your brain is completely false.

Why is this?

It is because our government can’t have millions of people like Steve Jobs wandering it’s streets because they would have already been out of power.

I invite you today to sit down and watch this documentary that BBC has put together on Steve.

It is one of the best documentaries I have seen to date, and is certainly worth the hour of your time.

Merry Christmas! :)

Mishnakrurti

e·go

noun /ˈēgō/
egos, plural

  1. A person’s sense of self-esteem or self-importance
  • - a boost to my ego

  1. The part of the mind that mediates between the conscious and the unconscious and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identity

A common misconception is that an ego is the product of an inflated sense of self (the attitude possessed by a person who feels they’re better than others) when actually, an ego IS the “self.”

We all have this ego; we all have our own interpretation of ourselves, and feel we are this “gear” in the machine that is the world.

Many of us hold on to this ego for dear life. We feel that if we don’t understand ourselves, then how could we possibly understand the world around us?

Whether it’s our values, our morals, our ethics- maybe it’s our stances on political issues, or our beliefs in regard to the after-life, whatever it is; the ego is this stagnant catalyst of beliefs, which we abide by daily(possibly sub-consciously), because we feel it is who we are.

When taking offense, we feel threatened; someone or something has violated our sense of what is right; our ego. This ego we have built (a figment of our imagination) has sensed a threat to its wellbeing, an outside belief has penetrated its way into our life in some way (through another person’s actions or statements) and we become afraid that the walls we have built may not be strong enough.

The ego, much like an animal, will do whatever it takes to survive; be it fight or run away. The ego is a living thing (in our minds) and challenges to those beliefs are kryptonite.

To fight is to do or say something to the person.

Being offended is a person’s reflex to an attack of their ego; we do it automatically, often without even knowing it. If being offended by another person’s actions (unless said actions cause you physical or material harm) causes you to alter your course/pattern, any actions taken are an erroneous pursuit.

To run away is to simply retreat back into your shell, judge, and look down upon the person; this is easily done when a person is surrounded by like-minded individuals during your day to day life.

It’s easy to fall back into yourself, let the ego win, and move on with your life convinced you are the more virtuous person. This is the lesser of the two evils, but not your only two choices.

The choice I choose to take is- Quickly reflect on the event that just took place, remember how things happened (the facts, minus the breach of morality), and store it in your brain’s data bank. Remember the events in the same way a hard drive would store data in memory.

Once the “data” is in your brain, move on with you day like the breach of morality never happened. Keep the events in your mind for if you ever have to recall them in a later decision. The smart choice is not to take immediate action fueled by emotion and pride; I implore you, the clearest decisions are not made in haste. To take action to defend the ego is a war to protect Atlantis (a war to protect a myth).

What many people are confused about when that other person’s actions are taking place, is it my body or well-being that is being attacked, or only my ego?

Having the sense to know the difference between the two comes from a lifetime of increasing self-awareness and strengthening perception; and to ever believe you have completed these tasks would be counterproductive in itself.

2011 MLB Big Name Free Agents Predictions

The 2011 Winter Meetings was thought to have three of the MLB’s best players names getting thrown around for the three-day event.  Jose Reyes, Prince Fielder, and the machine Albert Pujols are all expected to get big money.

Albert Pujols and Prince Fielder

The Miami Marlins whom are never spenders have taken one of those brand names off the list of the many free agents.  Jose Reyes agreed to a deal said to be worth a possible $124 million over 7 years.

For the first 6 years Reyes will make a guaranteed $102 million and then the club can buy out the contract for $4 million or continue to pay Reyes the extra $22 million.  Reyes is now 28 and will be just toward the end of his prime at the end of his contract (35 years old).

He is known to have injury problems, especially with his hamstrings. Reyes is a player who hits for average and likes to put the ball in play to use his speed.  So if his hamstrings act the way they have in the past, I don’t see the Marlins not buying out the 7th year.

But now that Jose Reyes is on the team, whats the plan for the all-star shortstop Hanley Ramirez?

He could possibly move to third base due to the fact of their 2007 first round pick (12th overall), Matt Dominguez, has not had a promising season since play single A ball hitting .296/18 homers/ 70 RBI’s in 2007.

He has just been on a decline in the pre-season prospect rankings.  They could move Hanley to center field and put Emilio Bonifacio to third base.  My bet is that Hanley ends up pulling an Alex Rodriguez and moves from short-stop to third base.

There has been a lot of talk about which of the two all-star first basemen to sign to a long term big buck contract.

Prince Fielder is 27 and Albert Pujols is 31 years old.  There is no debate as to which player is better, Albert Pujols has been one of the most if not the most consistent player in baseball for the past decade.

The debate is about the fact that Pujols is four years older than Fielder. You can easily say that Albert Pujols will last in the league longer due to the fact that he is in extraordinary shape where Fielder is not.  Prince measures in at 5’11” and weighs in at 275.

Although Prince is athletic, his body will not be able to perform for the amount of years Pujols’s will.  On top of that, Pujols is still not out of his prime.

Pujols is also the better defender by far with 2 gold gloves.  If you give him a 7 or an 8 year deal you will have the best player in baseball for at least 3 of those years and a great player for the remaining years, if he remains healthy.

If you give Prince that contract, you might end up paying him to DH (if he signs with an American League team) towards the end of his contract. In my opinion, if I were an owner, I would not be upset bout signing one or the other, but you got to give the big bucks to Pujols.

Fielder has many possible and interested suitors for his services of hitting the long ball. The Blue Jays, Brewers, Cubs, Mariners, Marlins, Nationals, and Rangers all have interest in the big first baseman.

As much as I would like to see the Brewers re-sign Prince, I don’t think they will be able to pony up the doe for him.  My two teams I believe are the best fits are the Rangers and Mariners.  The Mariners haven’t had a big long ball hitter since Ken Griffey Jr. and are in the process of rebuilding and mainly around King Felix Hernandez.

He would be a great fit in the middle of that lineup and a great way to get the team in the playoff race.

If the Rangers sign Prince, they can almost guarantee themselves to not losing back to back to back  World Series.  They will be adding an all-star power hitter to one of the best and most dangerous offenses in the game.

I would put them as the favorite to win the 2012 World Series.

The Mariners and the Rangers would also be great fits due to the fact that he would be in the American League giving the team the option of putting him at DH to give him a break.  I believe the Rangers will make a push towards the end and end up with the name Prince Fielder in the clean up spot protecting Josh Hamilton on their line-up card.

Albert Pujols has deserved a long-term contract along with a lot of money.  I believe he will eventually end up re-signing with the St. Louis Cardinals after the meetings are over.  They have to match anything that anyone offers him.

The Miami Marlins have shown that they are not afraid to spend money finally.  These are my two biggest possibilities, but there are many other suitors that will spend the millions on the 3 time MVP.
