Become So Organized it Disgusts People

Just Like The Shirt Says!

One of the biggest things you can do right now to immediately improve your life and productivity is to GET ORGANIZED.

Organization makes doing things a lot easier. You will know exactly where everything is and you can work more efficiently and effectively.

Put it this way, if you already think you are organized, there is someone out there who is more organized.

Get organized to the point where people are actually disgusted and repulsed at how organized you are.

Once you reach that stage, you know you are going to be able to work at 100% of your potential.

Being organized is not just moving a few things around on your desk. It involves organizing EVERY ASPECT of your life. If you find yourself constantly searching for things and locating where you left something, you are wasting time that can be dedicated to improving your own success.

Think of all the time you waste looking for where your keys are, where you put that last thing you bought, and where the fuck you left the remote.

How much time would you save if you organized everything to the point where you knew EXACTLY where to look for it instantly without hesitation?

It really isn’t hard.

Create a system of organization for yourself based on your personal lifestyle.

Everyone is different.

What works for one person will be totally different for another.

The best step to stop forgetting where things are initially is to WRITE THINGS DOWN.

When you write something down, you can never forget it. Unless of course, you forget where you left the piece of paper. Sucks to be you and that unorganized.

Start working at it!

It really isn’t that hard to get organized and requires minimal time to organize a few things. After you organize certain aspects of your life, you will want to organize everything else because you will realize how much time it is saving you during the workday.

Being Unorgazined Creates Stress!

To sum it up, being organized:

1. Reduces stress of not realizing where you left things

2. Makes you more efficient

3. Makes you more productive

4. Makes it easier to manage your time

5. Creates a clean work environment that is comfortable to work in

I think #5 is of utmost importance to me.

I love being in a comfortable environment. It makes it so much easier to work and get things done when I am relaxed.

If you have ever met me personally, you already know how I operate. I know EXACTLY where everything is that I need instantly and my room and work station area is SPARKLING CLEAN.

I can’t operate in any other environment anymore until I make it so disgustingly organized that people are repulsed by my work ethic and organization skills! :)

Online Gamers Solve Decade-Old HIV Puzzle In Three Weeks

In just three weeks, online gamers deciphered the structure of a retrovirus protein that has stumped scientists for over a decade, and a study out Sunday says their breakthrough opens doors for a new AIDS drug design.

The protein, called a protease, plays a critical role in how some viruses, including HIV, multiply. Intensive research has been underway to find AIDS drugs that can deactivate proteases, but scientists were hampered by their inability to crack the enzyme’s structure.

Looking for a solution, researchers at the University of Washington turned to Foldit, a program created by the university a few years ago that transforms problems of science into competitive computer games, and challenged players to use their three-dimensional problem-solving skills to build accurate models of the protein.

Within days, the gamers generated models good enough for the researchers to refine into an accurate portrayal of the enzyme’s structure. What’s more, the scientists identified parts of the molecule that are likely targets for drugs to block the enzyme.

Within days, the gamers generated models good enough for the researchers to refine into an accurate portrayal of the enzyme's structure.

“We wanted to see if human intuition could succeed where automated methods had failed,” said Firas Khatib, a lead author of the study, published in the journal Nature Structural & Molecular Biology.

The researchers were hopeful that their finding would open further possibilities of crowd-sourcing and online game-playing in scientific discovery.

“The ingenuity of game players is a formidable force that, if properly directed, can be used to solve a wide range of scientific problems,” Khatib said.

Seth Cooper, a co-creator of Foldit, added, “People have spatial reasoning skills, something computers are not yet good at. Games provide a framework for bringing together the strengths of computers and humans. The results in this week’s paper show that gaming, science and computation can be combined to make advances that were not possible before.”

First Step Towards A Truly Immersive Virtual Reality

Monkeys can now feel virtual objects using a brain implant.

This could be the first step towards virtual reality where you can feel the computer-generated world around you.

An international team of neuroengineers has developed a  bi-directional brain-machine interface. That means the monkeys can use this brain implant not only to control a virtual hand, but also to get feedback that tricks their brains into “feeling” the texture of virtual objects.

"Feeling" the texture of virtual objects.

How it works:

When you’re wearing a pair of big bulky gloves, the sensory information usually provided to your brain by your fingers is deadened by the barrier between your hand and your keys. The result is a one-way interface; your brain can tell your fingers what to do with the keys, but communication from your fingers back to your brain is effectively cut off. As a result, you have to rely on another sense — usually vision — to tell if you’re currently pinching one key, three keys, or no keys at all.

To really make the most of your fingertips, there needs to be a two-way interface between your brain and your hands. When your brain can receive tactile information from your hands about, say, the texture of the key you’re handling, it can make near-instantaneous adjustments that give you better dexterity, or help you choose the right key.

Brain-machine interfaces have come a long way in recent years, but, with few exceptions, these systems have depended pretty much exclusively on one-way interfaces.

To demonstrate the power of a two-way interface, a team of neuroengineers at Duke University designed a brain-machine-brain interface (BMBI) to test on monkeys.

“This is the first demonstration of a brain-machine-brain interface that establishes a direct, bidirectional link between a brain and a virtual body,” said Miguel Nicolelis, who led the study. “In this BMBI, the virtual body is controlled directly by the animal’s brain activity, while its virtual hand generates tactile feedback information that is signaled via direct electrical microstimulation of another region of the animal’s cortex.”

Here’s how it all works: the BMBI takes movement commands from 50—200 neurons in the monkey’s motor cortex and uses them to control the operation of a virtual, “avatar” hand, not unlike a classical one-way interface. But the new interface also implements a feedback mechanism, wherein information about a virtual object’s texture is delivered directly to the brain via something known as intracortical microstimulation, or “ICMS” for short. When a monkey receives feedback in the form of ICMS, thousands of neurons in its brain (neurons that actually correspond to tactile feedback in the hands) receive electrical stimulation via carefully placed electrodes.

This two-way interface allows for the monkeys to engage in what the researchers call “active tactile exploration” of a virtual set of objects. Using only their brains, monkeys were able to direct their avatar hand over the surfaces of several virtual objects and differentiate between their textures.

To prove that the monkeys could pick out specific objects based on tactile feedback, the researchers would reward monkeys for selecting objects with a specific texture. When they held their virtual hand over the correct object, they were given a reward. The study looked at the performance of this task by two monkeys. It took one monkey just four attempts to learn how to select the correct object during each trial; the second, only nine.

It’s All So Simple

Life is simple.

We make it so much more complicated than it has to be.

In reality, everything we need to be happy is right here on earth. We need to look past all the illusions and nonsense: the money, the religions, the boundaries, borders, ignorant ways of thinking and so on.

There is no man up in the sky called “God” that looks down upon us. There is no one there to intervene and make everything okay but ourselves.

Knowledge is the driving force behind all wisdom. Wisdom is the driving force behind the evolution of human consciousness.

It may seem like we have been stuck in a state of ignorance and it will stay that way forever, but…

Who would have thought 40 years ago the president of the United States would be black?

Barack Obama is the President of the United States because a series of events have been happening for a very long time called the evolution of conscious awareness.

This is where we’re at right now:

Some crazy chaotic stage where all we care about is the dollar bill.

1% of the people are rich.

Everyone else is broke.

The Middle East is revolting.

Suicide bombings are killing U.S. soldiers.

Occupy everywhere movements.

WW3 about to go down with Iran.

The world is changing at a rapid pace right now. It’s all part of a learning stage in humanity.

Our lifetime is just a link in an evolutionary chain.

Our own free will got us into this situation and now it’s up to us to get ourselves out.

Simple, but hard.

In order to attain peace, knowledge must first be obtained.

Time Machines Are REAL: Meet The GigaPan Time Machine

If you told someone 20 years ago or even today that an actual time machine existed, they’d think you were crazy. They wouldn’t believe it until they’d see it.

So here it is…

The GigaPan Time Machine enables simultaneous exploration of space and time across massive datasets that could not previously be explored to the extent they can now. GigaPan was developed by Carnegie Mellon University in collaboration with NASA Ames Intelligent Robotics Group and GigaPan Systems, with support from Google.

The video above is a demonstration of the time machine at work.

Now, think about how far humans have come as a species.

50 years ago color television barely around.

And not that far back were we just learning to fly planes!

We have come so far in such little time.

The Ultimate Supplement Stack

There are a lot of great supplements on the market that you can take to improve your overall health. While some are good, and some are not as great, today I have complied a list of all the supplements I take on a daily basis.

Supplements can be QUITE beneficial!

Each of the links at the top of each supplement description link to the brand of each supplement that I take. I have done extensive research on each item and believe these are the best brands to purchase for quality and price.

1. Fish Oil

Probably the #1 most important supplement that everyone should take once or twice on a daily basis. Fish oil capsules contain the essential omega-3 fatty acids which are useful for reducing your risk of coronary heart disease and maintaining healthy triglyceride levels.

Fish oil also has the ability to reduce your blood pressure levels and keep your cell membranes flexible and healthy.

Because our amazing human body machines can’t naturally produce omega-3s, it is necessary to supplement fish oil into your diet to receive the benefits that these fatty acids provide us.

Fish oils have absolutely no negative side effects aside from the “fishy burps” some users experience. Good quality fish oil supplements are created to prevent this from occurring so make sure you purchase a reliable product.

2. Acai Berries

Also known as nature’s “superfood.” Acai berries are one of the most powerful anti-oxidants in the world. They help protect against free radicals that can affect cells of the heart, eyes, skin, and the immune system. Free radicals are also responsible for speeding up aging in the human body.

Grown in the Amazon rainforest, these berries have an extremely short life span which means they need to be put into capsule form to harness all the nutrients they contain before they go bad. You can still purchase the actual acai berries but they tend to be very expensive and you can receive the same benefit from taking a few capsules each day anyway.

Taken daily, acai berries can also boost your energy levels and help the digestive process of the body.

Since taking acai berries a few times a day for the last 3 or so years, I can honestly say I haven’t been sick at all. Besides a few run ins with the common cold, I have not been unable to do anything on a certain day because I was sick and bedridden. These little berries are EXTREMELY powerful in my opinion and it would be stupid not to try them if you want to boost your immune system.

3. B-Vitamins

B-Vitamins are essential for energy metabolism. I take an advanced high potency b-complex supplement that contains adequate levels of each of the various b-vitamins.

B-vitamins are interdependent of each other meaning that each of the various types must be taken together to notice any benefit. For this reason, you should purchase a b-vitamin supplement that contains each of the b-vitamins or you are simply wasting your money.

B-vitamins are also known to spark your metabolism levels which decrease in many individuals after the age of 20.

The supplement I take is specially formulated to also replenish nutrients that are lost during high stress times.

Quite a beneficial supplement!

Most multivitamins don’t contain or don’t have enough of all the essential b-vitamins so make sure to take these if you are also taking a multivitamin each day.

4. Multivitamins

There is a lot of controversy over the benefits of taking a multivitamin daily. The argument for the case is that the body will usually not need all the different vitamins and minerals that these pills provide and will excrete them through urination.

While this is true, many of us don’t get the recommended amount of each vitamin and mineral each day to maintain adequate health. For this reason, you should still take a multivitamin each day and let your body filter out what it doesn’t need.

5. L-Tyrosine

This is a new supplement that I have been experimenting with in recent months, and has certainly provided me with some great benefits.

L-tyrosine is a free form amino acid that when taken as a supplement rapidly converts to dopamine, a neurotransmitter in your brain that regulates mood, motivation and concentration.

These should be taken on an empty stomach in the morning to give the body the ability to rapidly digest them and have the ability to cross the brain blood barrier which can be interfered with if you have a full stomach worth of food to digest.

After taking these supplements for a few months I have noticed that my energy levels and motivation have skyrocketed. No longer do I feel tired and drained during the day, and if I do, I take another dose of the supplement right before dinner to re-energize.

6. 5-HTP

5-HTP (L-5-hydroxytryptophan) is an intermediate to the natural conversion of the essential amino acid tryptophan, to serotonin.

Increased brain serotonin levels are said to produce positive effects on emotional well-being, appetite regulation, and a healthy sleep cycle.

I have taken these for a few months and have noticed a great benefit in my sleeping patterns and overall sense of well-being. I feel very refreshed after a good nights sleep and I have noticed reduced stress levels during the day.

I take a few capsules before bed each night and they make me a little drowsy which makes it easier to fall asleep. When taken in combination with melatonin, 5-HTP is a great natural sleeping aid.

7. Melatonin

Melatonin is great for promoting healthy sleep patterns. It is a natural hormone that your body produces when it needs sleep to repair itself.

When taken as a supplement, it can further increase the bodies ability to stay in a healthy circadian cycle of sleep. I take a melatonin supplement with the 5-HTP each night when I know I will able to dedicate at least 6-8 hours to sleep.

Melatonin can leave you feeling very groggy in the morning if you don’t get enough sleep so if you are planning on sleeping for less than 6 hours, don’t bother taking it.

Supplementing Notes:

Supplement Your Way to Good Health!

While all the supplements listed above have amazing benefits, always consult your health care provider before experimenting with each.

Everyone’s body chemistry and genetics are different so talk with your doctor about supplements you might want to try.

I personally have not noticed any negative side-effects from any of the supplements I described above. I try to stay as healthy as possible and make sure that I workout at least 3 times a week to keep my body in top condition.

None of these supplements will work miracles but they will certainly boost your health and overall well-being if taken correctly. You have to make sure to address every aspect of your health if you want to receive the greatest benefits from supplementing.

As far as dosing of each goes, go with the recommended amount on the bottles and if you don’t notice anything, consider increasing your dosage slightly until you are able to notice the benefits.

Do some research on your own and figure out which of each will benefit you the most.

If you are concerned about price, put aside some money to try out a few in your diet.

After all, how valuable is money when you don’t have a healthy body to enjoy all your physical possessions?

Quantum Jumping: Creating Your Ideal Universe and Reality

Take a few seconds and imagine the ideal life for yourself. The life you truly want to live if you could do absolutely anything you wished.

What are you doing?

Where are you living?

How much money do you have?

How happy are you?

How willing are you to go get it?

I am sure we all know exactly what we want, but not exactly how to get it. For many it just may seem too hard to achieve. This is a simply a limiting belief, and can be eliminated in a number of ways.

Make The Quantum Leap of Faith

One of those ways is known as Quantum Jumping.

Quantum jumping is a technique that can be used to “jump into an alternate universe.” An alternate universe where you live the exact life you want to live. It is only limited to what you can imagine you truly want.

While it may seem very skeptical, I can assure you that this possibility is not merely science fiction, or something found in The Matrix. The one thing I can assure you of, is that your brain has INFINITE potential.

Anything you brain can believe it can achieve, it can achieve. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of the things you want yet. Once you click the switch and quantum jump into a new reality, you will soon manifest everything you desire, perhaps a lot faster than you could have ever imagined!

I can tell you first hand I have been able to shed multiple belief systems that were programmed into my from my past. I used to watch a lot of television and mainstream media, and I had no way of knowing I was being brainwashed into thinking a certain way.

I had a lot of limiting beliefs about myself, and about life in general. For example I used to believe that money was hard to acquire, success doesn’t come easy, life is difficult to manage etc. My new belief system is something more like: Money is fun and easy to acquire! Life is so easy and relaxing! I enjoy a fresh challenge! I enjoy every second of my life to the fullest!

Gone is all the negative baggage, and in is an empowering belief system.

But how is this possible through quantum jumping?

If you know anything about quantum physics, you have an idea of how complicated particles behave. The have the ability to exist in motion, yet be still at the same time. We have absolutely no explanation for this, nor do we have an explanation for quantum jumping.

I like to describe quantum jumping as re-programming your subconscious mind. When you can tap into your subconscious through guided mediation, you can erase old patterns of belief with good practice.

It takes a long time, and you will be faced with a ton of resistance from your mind and your social network. People might think you are nuts that you can “jump into a new reality” but that is because you probably hang out with people who have similar belief patterns. Don’t worry, only the truly valuable friends will come along for the ride and enjoy their own fun new lives as well.

The perfect example of a quantum jump is what this blogging community has already become. We began our website on November 18th, 2011 and as of today, December 5, 2011, we have 3,783 unique traffic views and 586 hits already today as I write this blog. Would we have thought something like this was possible with our old pre-conceived notions? You bet not, and you can bet we probably would have just laughed at the idea of a site like this thinking it wasn’t possible.

Well this site was turned into a reality, and it is already more than it we could have imagine it would be at this point.

And we are enjoying every second of the process.

In future posts, I will provide methods to make your own unique quantum jump into a reality you want and deserve. Anything is possible. Imagine anything you want, and know that it isn’t just a possibility, it can be a CERTAINTY.
