Breaking The Taboo: Anti-War on Drugs (VIDEO)

“We must wage what I have called total war against public enemy number one in the United States. The problem of dangerous drugs.” – Richard Nixon 1971

What really pissed off Nixon was the intravenous use of marijuana in the 70’s during the Vietnam War. From this point to the current time, the “War on Drugs” has cost trillions of dollars. Billionaire Richard Branson described the war on drugs as a “trillion-dollar failure.” Is it possible that current President Obama is starting to realize the problem here?

So is it time to end the War on Drugs?

How about in Vermont?

Richard Branson and his son sure think so. They created and recently released a video which is narrated by Morgan Freeman called “Breaking the Taboo” where they interview  leaders around the world, concluding drug prohibition to be the “biggest failure of global policy in the last 40 years.” We have it for you right here.
