10 Simple Methods To a Much Longer Life

Who doesn’t want to live a nice long and healthy life? It’s not the easiest thing to do with all of these pollutants, nuclear testings, daily stresses etc. that already take years off of your life. Here are some simple tips that can help you add years to your life.

1. STOP STRESSING EVERYTHING

Learn to control your stress and anger. Studies show that stress is a factor in cancer growth and other diseases.

2. Stop Eating Fast food COMPLETELY

The stuff they put in this food is disgusting and terrible for your insides. Having it only once a week or once a month is no excuse. It just doesn’t belong in your body.

3. Don’t drink soda! Water doesn’t suck. It really, really doesn’t!

Cancer loves sugar. It feeds off of it. The amount of sugar in any soda is disturbing and your body hates you for consuming it. And oh yea, it’s bad for your teeth, duh.

4. Have Sex

Sex is one of the biggest stress and anxiety relievers in the world. Sex was proven to relieve anxiety and stress more than taking a xanax. And if you don’t have anyone stop complaining – you’re just wasting your time. There is someone for everyone.

5. Exercise – This should be obvious

You don’t have to hit the gym 5 times a week and work out like a maniac. Even 100 jumping jacks, a nice walk, and a couple of pushups can benefit your body.

6. Eat Greens everyday with a meal

Nothing is better for your digestive system than green vegetables. High in nutrients, these guys can easily add years onto your life. If you don’t like them, learn to. Spinach, Kale, green peppers etc.

7. Give your body rest – Sleep like a King or Queen

According to Harvard Medical School,

But observational studies can’t prove causality, so they can’t show, for example, that changing from five hours of sleep a night to six or seven for the next 20 years will help you live longer. An excellent study from the University of Pennsylvania found that people who sleep less than eight hours a night have lower cognitive performance than people who sleep eight hours or more. If that’s true, maybe you should sleep eight and a half hours nightly if your goal is to be clearheaded, but six to seven if your goal is longevity!

8. Love More, Hate less

According to doctors,

“Spending time with those you love has an extremely positive effect on health and can cut the risk of an early death to half,” says Sunil Mittal, psychiatrist and director of Cosmos Institute of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences.

9. Consume Antioxidants

Drink tea, eat yogurt, have a glass of red wine, and have some dark chocolate occasionally. All of these consist of strong antioxidants that have been proven to prevent cancer.

10. Laugh every single day

Even if you’re having a bad day, find a way to laugh. Watch a funny movie, hangout with a funny friend – just laugh because it is one of the healthiest things for you:

  • Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
  • Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
  • Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
  • Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.

    Laughter is the best medicine, somehow we might not notice if we are always happy, we are far from acquiring certain diseases especially mental disorders. I think sex is really a good excuse that we should have in order to live a longer and happy life.
