Space The Final Frontier? | AmbioFile

Now that the holidays have come and gone, we shift our focus to spring. We look back on the wonderful times that we had with family and friends, spending time together sharing each others company. This time is unique. We are enabled with the ability to stand back and view how we handled the situations we were placed in.
Did we say the right things at the right time? Did we understand the real message of the holidays? Did we give sincerely? All of these questions, yet valid, remain shallow unless we understand the space from which we operate. We must ask ourselves whether we were operating from a place of attachment or pure space awareness. If the answer is attachment, then we should reconsider the reason we indulge in holiday festivities.
The holiday is simply a symbolic manifestation of our need for community in spirit. We need a designated time that we can see people we don’t see in the name of spirit. Therefore, if we operate from the space of pure awareness, we can learn to harness the ability of spending spirit-time with those loved ones anytime and anyplace. But, if we are wrapped up in attaching ourselves to each moment as if we want it to last forever, we will find ourselves in bitter disarray, resulting in mental anguish and suffering.
We must become aware of our thoughts. As we do, we realize that there is a vast space awareness at our disposal all the time. This is a great power. Not a secret for the few, but the truth of the many. The wondrous aspect is this: If we are all capable of accessing this vast space awareness, then what is truly the final frontier? Some people believe that in the next twenty years we will merge with machine. Some believe that we will soon find the cure for every disease. Some even believe that the existence of humanity is found in the eye of a mushroom. However, if we can all access this vast fundamental space, what is our humanic final frontier?
Below I have installed a classic fusion/ambient piece of mine. I would like you to spend 4:15 to stop and contemplate what might be our final frontier. Is this vast space really the end all?
Are we sending out the message that we want to know? Are we completely opening ourselves?
As we develop as a species, we drift further and further from our original roots. However, at the same time we seemingly are headed towards a simpler time in where we see the deeper nature amongst each other.
The power of this vast space, and the simplicity that accompanies it might be our direction, and even final. The magic lies within the mutual recognition of this deep space. When we look at one another and know that no amount of money, fame, or knowledge can separate us from what we truly are. This can be a scary feeling. But, when has there ever been an advancement in history that wasn’t scary?
Let’s take the leap in 2013. We must let go of attachments and old ways of thinking in order to advance. Let us look for our own personal final frontier. And maybe, just maybe, we will find the final frontier of all of humanity.
