The Indigo Children

“Indigo Children” is the name given to a very special group of beings who have chosen to incarnate on our planet with a specific mission and purpose.
The name “Indigo Child” refers to the soul color of Indigo, which indicates a “master soul” who serves as a teacher or healer. Every Indigo Child will undertake this mission of teaching or healing in some way, often merely by being who he or she truly is.
In the recent past, Indigos began to incarnate on the planet in increasing numbers after World War II, in preparation for the global shift we are now experiencing. They incarnated among the “baby boom” generation of the fifties.
In the 1970′s the first generational wave of Indigo Children arrived. These beings are now in their late twenties and early thirties and are the real “warrior” generation who have begun the process of challenging and shifting old systems.
They were followed in the eighties and nineties by Indigos of increasing sensitivity and refinement, until the late 1990′s and early 2000′s when they were joined by the Crystal Children, a different kind of spiritual warrior.
The term “Indigo” refers to a soul state and not to an aura color, which in the average human, changes from day to day depending on mood and interest. Clairvoyants who read soul states may be able to identify Indigos.
It is easy to identify an Indigo by their sensitivity, creativity, spirituality, and general behavioral patterns.
As children, they look much like other children, although they are often physically beautiful with penetrating eyes. They are always highly intelligent and full of questions and demands. They are energetic and active and have strong wills and a strong sense of their own value, and importance.
They know that they are special, and they know they are here to do something significant.
They are right-brain oriented, and are generally attracted to right-brain pursuits such as music, art, writing, and spirituality. They love crystals and reiki, as well as meditation and yoga.
They are very passionate and intensely loyal to their friends, of whom they often have many. They believe in honesty and communication in relationships. They are often baffled by dishonesty and manipulation, and other forms of selfish behavior deemed normal by their elders.
Indigos oppose designed systems and conformity, as well as authority figures, who try to impose their will and alternate agendas upon the Indigos.
The usual diagnoses given to Indigos are ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) which are regarded as “minimal brain disfunction” by modern medicine.
The parent needs to choose between defining their child with a pathological label, or accept that the child represents the next step in human evolution.
If all of this seems wacky and absurd to you already, I felt the same way when first reading it.
I felt the same way, until stepping back and realizing that I myself possess a lot of the aforementioned traits.
A few of the traits that really stand out to me that are used to describe the Indigo Children is that of a problem with authority and systems. I have a problem being told what to do. I have a problem with the illusion of a false reality, and I have a problem conforming to a set system much like the one we deal with on a day to day basis.
Am I an Indigo Child?
In fact, I don’t really care.
Learning about this idea has confirmed to me a lot of things I have already believed about life.
I always feel that I am on a separate page than a lot of people, and have a problem interacting with those people because to me, they seem fake. Drones programmed by culture to continue projecting negative energy and fear into society. Too bad for them, because fear is an illusion.
It is simply a lack of information and awareness.
I do however, have a great relationship with a lot of friends and family who are on the same page as me. The same core beliefs of love and appreciation, and the desire to change the world.
Change the world for the better.
End all the corruption and nonsense we put up with on a daily basis, and instill a new powerful “system” of beliefs.
A “system” that is rid of lies and deceit, and full of love and truth.
The global shift that is mentioned before is occurring right now in front of you. Things are happening in this world that makes me believe there will in fact be a serious push towards higher consciousness by the end of this year.
December 21, 2012, end of the world?
