Ron Paul Says He Would Have Prevented 9/11

At a speech today in the Sun Dome at the University of South Florida ahead of the Republican convention, Ron Paul said if he had been in charge 9/11 wouldn’t have happened.

Paul was discussing foreign policy when he said: “Somebody… said the other day on the Internet, ‘if those Paul people had been in charge, Osama Bin Laden would still be alive.’”

He countered that statement with a very strong message: “But you know what I think the answer is? So would the 3000 people [killed] on 9/11, be alive!”

What do you think?

I believe he has made a good argument. It is just too bad he is a Republican and not a Democrat. His foreign policies ideas are fine; it is domestic and other issues that limit his overall standing with me.

I think he is right, he had great foresight into our foreign policy and video proves this as he was warning about the consequences of blow back even when Clinton was facing impeachment. While most of Congress wanted to impeach Clinton for the Monica Lewinsky fiasco, Paul wanted to impeach Clinton for a very different reason.

And he was right, just give this a few minutes of your time:
