And you thought your job was bad. Devi Lal has had an extremely bad job for 43 years. Everyday in New Delhi, India, Devi clears manually public sewers. He has to dive deep into sludgy sewers to get the garbage out that is causing the clog. Devi makes $3.50 a DAY and a bottle of liquor for disinfection. To make it even worse, 61 sewer “Sewer Divers” have died in the last 6 months. Is that really worth $3.50 a day?
