Mainstream Media Stories Are Scripted by The White House

A recent New York Times story substantiated the belief that many Americans have long suspected, the mainstream media is controlled. The story demonstrates that most major media sources comply with the orders to package only the information the public is “allowed” to hear.

These revelations should not necessarily be ground-breaking for many Americans, but if you weren’t already aware of this, you should be outraged. You are receiving filtered and biased reporting, and the extent of this control over the information you hear is quite disturbing. Essentially, voters are making choices based on altered or incomplete information. How is the electoral process even fair then?
The “scrubbing down” process begins right after interviews take place. The reporters check their interview notes and tape recorders for the best sound bites, then they have to submit them for approval. If Barack Obama “doesn’t approve this message”, it won’t get published. You will only hear what he wants you to hear. Reporters are also losing on much of the spontaneity and authenticity in their interviews.
The lesson here?
Don’t rely on mainstream media for the entire news. Seek other sources, especially those on the internet that are not dominated or owned by one of the big media outlets. You have a better chance of receiving unbiased information and facts, and can therefore vote for exactly for what a candidate truly represents.
