The East River Monster

Over the weekend, photographer Denise Ginely took pictures of a ghastly and thrilling creature that appears to look much like the fabled Montauk Monster that washed ashore on a Long Island beach in 2008. Ginley spotted the dead animal under the Brooklyn Bridge and couldn’t figure out what it was. So far, guesses of what the creature might be include: a giant rat, cooked pig, or a small, bloated dog.
Labeled the “East River Monster” this is no ordinary creature for sure:
