Army Begins Training MPs To Drive Tanks on U.S. Streets

Could Martial Law finally be here?

St. Louis city residents got an alarming visit from U.S. Army tanks rolling down their  friendly residential neighborhood last night. The exercise is said to be part of a U.S. Army program run by military police from Fort Meade, Maryland. They are focused around training MPs from St. Louis on how to drive heavily armored tanks on the highways and city streets. Conveniently, the media report that covered this event has been promptly removed from everywhere it has been posted.

Should we be worried?

The increasing shift toward domestic militarization of law enforcement is part of the acclimation process to get Americans comfortable with the idea of troops and tanks on the streets as a routine occurrence. Soldiers from the National Guard were also deployed onto the streets of Hartford, Connecticut to break-up a recent annual Puerto Rican-American cultural event. This is just the latest of examples of how the military and National Guard is increasingly being deployed domestically to target the American people.

Back in 2008, the Washington Post reported how 20,000 United States troops returning from Iraq would be stationed inside America under Northcom for purposes of “domestic security” from September 2011 onwards. These recent events appear to stem from this authorization.

According to Section 1385 of the Posse Comitatus Act, the domestic deployment of troops for purposes of law enforcement is a clear violation of our Constitutional rights.

The Act states:

“Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”

Could this be the beginning of something much greater? Is the government preparing to control civil unrest? What could this increased focus on training MPs to drive armored tanks really mean? We are going to have to wait to find out, but it remains alarmingly clear that these training drills want to be kept under wraps and out of the public view. Alex Jones explains how the media is trying to mask the situation and control public opinion in the video below.

and is the US Army going to pay for the streets damaged by these overweight vehicles?? Of COURSE we shouldn’t be concerned. BS. Well, I grew up on military bases worldwide, and funny, I don’t recall EVER having GIs practicing in the housing areas… They need to practice these maneuvers along Pennsylvania Ave, in DC.
