Strange Place: Villa Escudero Waterfall Restaurant

Villa Escudero  is a resort  located in Quezon Province, Philippines.

It is a beautiful atmosphere offering customers an amazingly luxurious and comfortable room, and one of the most famous museums in the Philippines to visit. You must be thinking “Why the hell is this a strange place ?”

Well, it made the strange place collection because of its amazing Waterfalls Restaurant.

It is a normal restaurant offering lunches and dinners, but it sits at the bottom of an actual waterfall. The clear spring water crashes down onto the floor at the customers feet. They are encouraged to take off their shoes and simply enjoy the water flow. This may seem gross to some people, but the Waterfall restaurant proves to be very sanitary.

Flowing river water fills the restaurant floor where people can enjoy the feeling of relaxation while they enjoy their meals. Vacationers have described visiting this resort as one of the most truly memorable and unusual times that can only be experienced at Villa Escudero.

I can’t really give anymore information about this resort because I have never been there, but these pictures should help you visualize the experience.

Although it seems like a school cafeteria, Waterfalls Restaurant is known as one of the most famous restaurants in the Philippines and its food has superb ratings.

Its buffet style food service makes the experience that much better because you have to walk through the river to get to the buffet. If you do not want to get up, servers come and take your order.
