My Complete Poker Manifesto, Part X: Analyzing Your Poker Game with Record Keeping and Statistics
January 30, 2012 3 Comments
I use a program called PokerTracker to track all of my online poker statistics.
This little neat program costs just under $100 for a lifetime investment and also comes with a 30-day free trial.
This program is an ABSOLUTE necessity to purchase if you want to be a serious winner at online poker.
PokerTracker tracks every single possible poker statistic from the hand history files that your online poker site provides. They have a plugin in the program called a HUD (heads-up display) which compiles every single statistic about your opponents right on their avatar with various pop-up menus. I use this to develop statistical reads against every opponent from every hand I play against them. Because I play so many tables, this gives me the advantage of tracking every single hand my opponents play against me.
This gives me a massive advantage because I like to play super aggressive in cash games to maximize my profit.
You can read more about this nifty little program by visiting their website.
