Part V: Managing Your Poker Bankroll

By far your biggest tool for your business besides your poker bankroll is your poker mindset.

The psychology of poker is actually quite amazing if you think about it.

In no other game to a players true emotions reveal themselves. Money has a funny way of effecting most people. Most people are so attached to money that when they are losing big, it is written ALL OVER THEIR FACE.

This is the best time to exploit those opponents further.

This is what we poker players like to call “tilt.”

As I outlined in my poker bankroll management article, tilt is the #1 bankroll killer in the world. Tilt can ruin a long profitable session in a matter of seconds. It can be a long dark and lonely path for inexperienced online players sitting behind a computer attempting to play on massive tilt. Tilt induces more and more tilt which leads to bankroll being set on fire.

In order to counter this, you must develop a zen like approach to poker.

I outline the entire process in this article, The Poker Trance: The Ultimate Poker Mindset.

I also highly recommend watching this video from poker mindset trainer and life coach, Sam Cauhan.

In my opinion, this is the most UNDERRATED video I have seen on YouTube.

I watch a lot of videos.
