My Complete Poker Manifesto, Part II: Prologue

Part I: My Poker Story

My complete focus has been on the “Cadillac of Poker Games” as poker legend Doyle Brunson describes it.

That game is No-limit Texas Hold’em.

I play both cash games and tournaments with sessions dedicated to each individual specific type of game.

I will hold nothing back about my approach to the game.

Like I said, I will give you the highs and lows of playing poker and also the reasons why I would never want to pursue poker full time professionally.

I have too many other interests in life to fully dedicate it to a game where you can win and lose large sums of money in a heartbeat.

Poker might be the only thing that stresses me out at times in my life.

But as I have grown as a player, I have worked to eliminate that stress and focus on making profitable decisions every time I sit down at a poker table or a computer to play online poker.

You will find out a lot about me and my mentality as well as my approach to life in general in this post.

If you read and apply the strategies you will learn:

1. How to manage a poker bankroll and run your poker time investment as a BUSINESS investment.

2. How to deceive people at a poker table to maximize your profit.

3. How to make accurate reads on opponents to determine what their hand range and possible cards are.

4. How to apply a loose-aggressive and sometimes hyper-aggressive poker strategy to deceive opponents and win more money in the process.

5. How to completely not care about the value of money and how having/not having money effects your emotional well-being if you allow it to.

This will be an extremely long read if you are not a fan of poker and not working to develop your game and your own individual approach to life.

Everyone can play poker, have fun, and make some money if they develop their game appropriately and apply the learned concepts from within this article.

If you are interested, read on.
